FOR A DAY -- THE WORLD STOOD STILL

This collection of poetry is more refined. It took longer and has more intentional creativity.

SUMMARY: For a day -- the world stood still… and I wrote.

The following poems do not follow a timeline in the order of which they were written; rather they were all written at different times during the global pandemic and I have arranged them by the time they were written -- presented as if they were written in a single day. Quarantine, and more specifically human isolation, is known to be taxing on the mind - resulting in human restlessness, lethargy, and insomnia. Poetry is not always meant to be taken literally, but I know the power of words so I ask you to take these words with grave seriousness, and if need be, please, find the proper headspace before reading this collection. If you find yourself disturbed please seek help.
